Q: Is this a drop off class?
A: During homeschool class, parents are welcome to grab a coffee nearby or shop around…or just sit an enjoy some child free time! We encourage this time because its important for kids to learn from others and have new individual experiences.
Q: Do you have to attend a class to create?
A: Not at all! During Open Studio Hours, we offer walk in “make and take projects” all day! Stop in and we will get you set up with something to create in minutes! Parents are required to stay in the studio during open studio hours, and help their children. You choose your project and we set you up with supplies offer instructions to complete the projects, but open studio is your time to create.
Q: What is the minimum age?
A: During open studio hours, we have projects available for every age! While every craft class will have a recommended age, younger ones are welcome to join, they just may need some extra help. We recommend ages 3y and up, but you know your child best. If you have a 2y old that will sit still and be engaged…bring them in, they’ll love it!
Q: What can we expect during a class?
A: Expect to have fun and to get messy!!! We will always have some painting, usually mixed media projects! Hop over to Instagram and view some of our things we’ve made! Some projects may have some drying time required and you’re welcome to pick them up the next day. We will allot one hour for each class, but there’s no rush to finish.
Q: Will my child get messy?
A: Most definitely! We highly recommend to leave your fancy clothes at home. We do have smocks for the kids to wear, but we use acrylic paint and it will not wash out of clothes! Please come dressed for paint!
